OUR BACKGROUND
Once Upon A Dream Horse & Carriage, LLC. was founded in 2018 and offers elite services for Weddings, Engagements, Anniversaries, Prom, Homecoming, Senior pictures, Birthdays, Holidays, Family Reunions, exclusive private events and local community events. Our services can include horse drawn carriage services to and from your venue and photography session during your special occasion. Our passion is driven with over 30 years of equestrian training, showing & expertise and decorated with a Clydesdale mare, Fifi & French Vis-à-Vis luxurious carriage. You will be ushered with grace and elegance by our professional attendants for every occasion.

ONCE UPON A DREAM HORSE & CARRIAGE SERVICES
Each bride and groom wants their special day to be "THEIR OWN DREAM COME TRUE". That is why I don't have a "cookie cutter" menu of services. I will meet with you, listen to your wishes and make your day a unique and special one. I make every effort to make all your wishes come true and keeping everyone safe. I visit the wedding venue / reception site and make decisions as to parking of our two trucks / trailer rigs, safety of our horses and equipment with unloading and loading. I reserve the right to approve the route for safety. All carriage rides shall be conducted at a pace established by the driver. The horse will be given breaks at our driver's discretion.
Our operating costs are included in our base price that includes transportation and travel.
Transportation- We haul our horse in one truck and trailer and the Vis-a-Vis carriage in another truck and trailer.
Travel- travel time to visit the ceremony site, time necessary to prepare the horse, carriage and harness before the ceremony and at the site, the time needed to tear down after the ceremony, and return travel from your site.
PRICING:
Our services are based on a 2 hour minimum. Please contact us for further details to accommodate your wishes. Please fill out our "Contact us" form for your event quote specific to your vision. Thank you!
GRATUITIES:
Although gratuities are generally appreciated by the Coachman, Assistant Coachman and the Footman, it is between you and them and is not included in any package pricing. 10% is recommended.
MAINTENANCE:
Maintenance is done to our Carriage before and after each event to make sure everything is working in top working conditions. We do this in-house making sure everything is done correctly. We are street legal with brakes, lights and slow-moving sign.
SAFETY:
We ask that while the horse is at your event you refrain from using FIREWORKS, FIRE CRACKERS, CONFETTI CANNONS or OTHER LOUD ITEMS near or around the horse and carriage under any circumstances. We appreciate this for our safety and yours.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
We do work in the rain with our convertible top. However, we do not work in severe weather, lightning, snow, ice storms or high winds. Safety is our number one concern for you and our horse.
WE ARE A FULLY INSURED BUSINESS.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I BOOK?
The earlier the better is advisable especially for dates May through December. However, we can accept bookings anytime IF we are available.
DEPOSIT:
A $200 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve & book your date. If you change your date and we have your new date available, we can coordinate switching your new date. Upon meeting you and going over your dreams, I shall individualize a unique contract just for you to review. The remaining balance of your booking will be required to be paid 30 days before you special day.
